Welcome to Harlecour. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Harlecour website (the “Site”) and your purchase and use of our digital products. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.

1. Definitions
“Products” means the digital goods we sell, including Canva templates, guides, and any related downloadable files or written content.
“You” or “Customer” means the person or business accessing the Site or purchasing a Product.
“Content” means all text, designs, templates, graphics, and other materials made available through the Site or the Products.
2. Eligibility
To purchase from us, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
3. Our ProductsOur Products are digital goods. They are delivered electronically and are designed to be used with third-party tools, primarily Canva. To use our templates, you will need your own Canva account (free or paid depending on the template). Some templates may require a paid Canva subscription to access certain fonts, elements, or features; where this is the case, we aim to indicate it on the product page.
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our Products accurately, but we do not guarantee that descriptions, previews, or colors are error-free or that your device will display them accurately.
4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
All prices are listed in CAD and are subject to change without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Applicable taxes are[added at checkout where required. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges imposed by your own jurisdiction that are not collected by us.
Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider(s). By submitting an order, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the total amount shown at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where we suspect fraud or an error in pricing.
5. Delivery
Products are delivered digitally. After your payment is confirmed, you will receive link with a PDF by email and/or on the order confirmation screen. Delivery is typically immediate, but may occasionally be delayed. If you do not receive your Product within 24 hours, please contact us at harlecour.studio@gmail.com.
It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and to check your spam or junk folder. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by an incorrect email address or your email provider.
6. License and Permitted UseWhen you purchase a Product, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it subject to these Terms. Unless a product page states otherwise:
You may:
Use the Product for your own personal or business purposes, including client work (for example, using a proposal template to create proposals for your own clients).
Edit and customize the Product within Canva to suit your needs.
You may not:
Resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, or give away the Product itself, whether modified or unmodified.
Offer the Product (or a lightly modified version of it) for sale or download as a template, digital product, or asset.
Claim the original design or template as your own original work for resale.
Share your download link, login, or file access with others.
The license is granted per purchase and is for a single user. It may not be shared across multiple people or used by more than one individual. If you need to use a Product across a team, or wish to resell derivative work, contact us at harlecour.studio@gmail.com about a different license.
7. Intellectual Property
All Content, including the design, structure, and wording of our templates and guides, is owned by Harlecour or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing a Product grants you the license described in Section 6 only; it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
The Harlecour name, logo, and branding may not be used without our prior written permission.
8. Refunds and cancellation
All Harlecour products are digital goods, delivered electronically and available immediately after purchase. Because of this, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a product has been purchased, delivered, or accessed, except where a refund is required by applicable law.Before purchasing, please review the product description, previews, and any requirements (such as a Canva account) carefully, and reach out with any questions first. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are buying a digital product and that this policy applies.
If something goes wrong
If you experience a technical problem, for example, a broken download link, a corrupted file, or trouble accessing your template, please contact us at harlecour.studio@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase. We'll be glad to help, which may include re-sending your file or providing a replacement.

9. Third-Party Tools and Links
Our Products rely on third-party platforms such as Canva, and the Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, content, terms, or pricing of those third parties. Your use of Canva or any other third-party service is governed by that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible if a third-party platform changes or removes features that affect a Product.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site or Products to:
Violate any law or regulation.
Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of anyone, including us.
Distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
Copy, scrape, or reproduce the Site or Content except as permitted by these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
Our Products and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any Product will meet your specific requirements or produce any particular result.
Our guides and templates are provided for general informational and practical purposes. They are not professional advice, and using them does not guarantee any specific business, marketing, or communication outcome.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Harlecour and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or Products.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for that Product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including certain rights you may have as a consumer.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Harlecour and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of a Product, including any use that exceeds the license granted in Section 6.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site or purchase of Products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, except where applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.
